About Us

Hello there, and welcome! Thank you so much for joining us on this colorful journey, and for wanting to know more about our little team. It's just us – and by us I mean myself (Stephanie), my husband Robert, and our daughter Penny. I have a background in marketing, ecommerce, and creative silliness while Robert is an illustrator and product designer. Penny is currently a stay-at-home toddler, but aspires to draw on walls. We live in sunny Orlando, FL and enjoy exploring the magic and more. Nice to meet you!

When we became parents, everything felt new. Mostly in an exciting way, but also in a surprising way. The world of baby related products felt like it wasn't designed with me in mind at all. As a result, I felt like I was sacrificing part of myself by taking part in it. My style has always been something that made me feel like "me", and having a newborn is already so all consuming. I didn't have time to find myself again for awhile – and yes, we bought the grey diaper bag.

Now that our daughter is a little older, I've set out on a journey of re-discovering my style, my passion, and the things that bring me joy! I want to help other parents do the same – hopefully much sooner than I did. We don't have to give up every aspect of who we are just because we are parents, and you deserve to have a little fun!

So, after 2 years of late night brainstorms and sleepless nights, Pocketful Of Color was born! The idea was to design beautiful, colorful diaper bags & other essentials that I wish I'd had as a new parent. We also really focused on quality. Not just any old bag, but something truly both fun & functional that makes you feel like yourself.
